Bike Spring Poysdorf 2024
Poysdorf lives and breathes cycling – you can feel it everywhere.
With the “Cycling Spring Poysdorf” we are launching an offensive for cycling in our large community.
This includes eventful bike tours, joint bike rides and hiking days as well as much more.
All these events make cycling – whether in everyday life or as an active exercise – more attractive and invite you to start cycling at the beginning of the season.

A bike, gently rolling wine landscapes, cosy wine taverns and exciting cycle routes are the best ingredients for a decelerating cycling holiday. For this reason, Poysdorf is also launching a cycling offensive in the municipality this year. The cycling spring 2024 promises eventful cycling days, accompanied e-bike tours and joint bike rides from March to June.

Poysdorf achieved first place in 2022 and second place in 2023 among all Lower Austrian municipalities in the category of 5,000 to 15,000 inhabitants. The municipality of Poysdorf together with many Poysdorf businesses, supports the shopping cycling campaign in Poysdorf!
The shopping cycling is intended to motivate people to shop regionally, to strengthen their health through exercise, to be environmentally conscious and CO2-neutral on the road and to make a contribution to the quality of life of all of us. Promotion period: April 1 to June 10 2024.
Expiration:
Cycling passes are available free of charge at the participating businesses. The costumer/guest takes a bike pass with them and fills it out with their data. Every purchase or visit to a pub, cafe or wine tavern is confirmed with a stamp. Once all 10 fields have been stamped, the bike pass can be handed in at the town hall mailbox or at the citizen service. If a stamp pass is full, a new passport can be picked up from the companies and thus the change of winning increases.
There are first-class prizes to be won:
1st prize: E-bike worth 2,500,- EUR sponsored by radWERK-W4 and the municipality of Poysdorf
2nd prize: Voucher for e-bike day rentals and bike helmet worth 150,- EUR from Sparkassa Poysdorf
3rd prize: Gift basket worth 100,- EUR from the Raiffeisenbank in the Weinviertel
