“In d’Grean gehn” – A Living Spring Tradition
“In d’Grean gehn” – A Living Spring Tradition
“In d’Grean gehn” – meaning “going into the green” – is part of UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage and dates back to the biblical Emmaus walk on Easter Monday. In Poysdorf, this traditional Weinviertel custom is still celebrated today.
Join a winemaker for a walk through the vineyards, taste the young “heuriger” wines right in nature, and enjoy the unique sense of calm that defines the Weinviertel. The experience concludes with a traditional snack (Jause) at the winery.
